This Dissertation is aiming to
achieve a possibility to make houses
cheaper for first time buyers via the
use of Modern Methods of
Construction. The aim is to use
Modern Methods of Construction
(MMC) instead of traditional
methods, such as block and brick, to
construct a two bedroom home
cheaper for first time buyers.
The objective is to see if the use
of Modern Method of Construction,
such as Timber Framed Panels, as the
main structural elements to the
design to see if it can lower the cost
of the property.
Another aim is to see if it’s
possible to create a design that
allows the users the same level of
comfort as standard homes.
