As the plans to colonise Mars start to become a reality, our aesthetic framing of space travel needs to change. The Ascension Project helps to normalise space travel by targeting many different audiences through the use of variable design styles, sub-branding, and different media platforms. This new approach to representing space travel should aid diversity in the recruitment drive for settlers on Mars, as well as inspire younger generations to imagine what their future may become.
