Common Room is a group that celebrates the collections acquired by students. The classic collections to the weird and wonderful and the everyday mundane.
Common Room creates a safe space where students can connect over collecting and common interests. Events and an online forum will unite people at a time when student loneliness is at an alarming all-time high. As well as the communities built, collecting also holds other benefits to students. It is a method of slowing down, a focus, an escape from everyday demands. It is also an outlet for identity and passion, at a key point in a young adults life.
