Meraki recognizes that the majority of hair salons don’t cater to women who require a more modest space when getting their hair done and thus, aims to create a space for these women. Meraki Is a modest hair salon designed in order to cater to women of all ethnicities ages and religions. It will is a veiled escape for these women so that they feel comfortable when going to a hair salon and will also give an opportunity to experience the salons community feel. The salon also aims to allow its clients to have their own individual experience with bi-folding doors and privacy glass throughout the salon space, giving clients the opportunity to have these doors open for a more community experience or closed for a more private and individual experience.
