Jamie Scanlon is a recent graduate with over a years’ experience working in industry as a 3D Designer. Working at The Shopper Agency specialising in retail experiences allowed Jamie to work with popular brands such as Phillips, TPV, Nike and Karndean. Working in retail design gives Jamie a diverse skillset and vital experience from working on live briefs in industry. Gaining new skills such as completing site surveys, creating AutoCAD technical drawings for manufacturers, as well as creating photorealistic visuals for exhibitions and retail spaces using 3ds max and Vray rendering software proved invaluable for his final year at university. Jamie’s graduate project was focused on autism and issues people face with handling sensory information. Gaining insight from autism specialists and neurological research ‘Senso’ was created - a customisable sensory aid that allows sensory heightened users to improve their focus and sensitivity in overstimulating environments. In the coming months Jamie aspires to be working in industry bringing his motivation and passion for 3D design & visualisation, eager to demonstrate his skills and experience working on live briefs and to further enhance his skills as a designer.
