Subzero is a pressure activated cooling shin guard for footballers, to reduce the risk & encourage the healing of shin splints, while still providing impact protection. It's designed to be worn underneath socks with direct contact to the shin area. It has a phase changing material (PCM) that actively cools the shin area, removing moisture and heat away from the shins. The outer is designed in conjunction to maximise the cooling effect. Heat, pressure and impacts are the primary causes of shin splints
