Jacob is a highly motivated Product Designer committed to designing and developing commercially viable products. With a focus on following Innovative and responsible processes and design methodologies to meet and exceed modern consumer demands and design issues whilst producing new and exciting concepts. Over the past year Jacob has developed an innovative solution to reduce the risk of and severity of finger injuries within the sport of American Football. After developing his skill whilst on placement, Jacob took a hands-on approach to his project developing numerous different physical concepts to find a viable solution. Along with simulation and FMEA testing, Jacob developed a solution which was effective at protecting the player’s fingers without interfering with catching the ball.
