I term my work ‘performance painting’ and I explore how painting and performance art can coexist.  

Manifestation is a performance painting in which my underwear and body leave marks on the paper, creating an exact index of my body. Indexicality is a representation in which an object leaves a mark, a direct connection with the specific object and the memory of an individual. This indexicality in my work evokes emotion, through my body which carries trauma. I connect the vulnerability of the physical body as a carrier of emotions.
