Contemporary Art BA(Hons)

Every individual has a unique perspective on life: the way our eyes and brains process images. This excites me.

I like to see the multiple faces of an object and to show each place of existence perfectly. My work references a range of sources including the films Misery and American Psycho, and I combine performative methods with digital photo-editing techniques.

I also take inspiration from the scientific term Uncanny Valley. The idea that our brains can take images that aren’t inherently human and attempt to decipher them into something we can process more easily is something I explore in my practice.
