I explore my emotional responses to personal experiences through materials, such as representing dynamically changing emotions through different ways of draping fabric. I use pigments and different folds to change the shape and direction of the material, representing a particular emotional state. I imbue the fabric with fluid and expressive qualities; rips carry my anger and wool my healing.

I love old things, even though they may have lost their initial purpose, what they leave behind are good memories. Objects have a life span, but the memories they contain trickle in like water, like history, and the scars left behind are medals, treasures. Those memories that have been discarded can be recreated. Cherish the small, ordinary, everyday things that will ferment the sweetest fruits in the future.
