For my final project, I adapted the film Hocus Pocus into a television series from the ’90s era. I redesigned all seven major characters into a modern-day setting. As the witches themselves have a historical background, I researched the American and French Revolutions. In contrast to the human Characters, as they are from the 21 Century, I wanted the music to influence clothing choices significantly, so I researched different genres of music and how the music influenced clothing choices.
During this project, I developed a deeper love for embroidery. I enjoyed creating highly detailed textiles samples, primarily throughout Winnie and Dani. As design is the career I want to explore, I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole design process of my final project.
