Fashion Brand Marketing BA(Hons)

My time at the University of Huddersfield has enabled me to produce a variety of projects including communication campaigns, trend forecasting reports and event planning. The beginning of my university degree was during the covid pandemic, which despite the challenge, gave me the motivation, confidence and inspiration behind my work throughout the course. During the brand marketing course, I have been able to combine my analytical skills of researching and report writing with being creative through branding and design, which has been enhanced through the acquired knowledge of the Adobe software suite. My dissertation topic was inspired by my personal interest of psychology in fashion, which included discussing how internal and external factors can impact consumer buying decisions supported by a case study of stores in Leeds. The final major project was a self-directed project in which I produced a marketing report, an aspect of the course I have shown strength in, for the luxury brand Prada to enter the Indian market. The report also featured original imagery. In the future I aim to continue focusing within my specific interest in consumer behaviour by gaining experience in market analysis and trend forecasting. I believe understanding consumer behaviour will benefit myself as a marketer by ensuring effective campaigns can be produced.

*Please note all brands used within my work are part of university projects and are in no way linked to the existing companies.
