Elle Hickling

I had always known I was destined for a career in fashion; however I didn’t know that my time at University would encourage my ambitions to do so as much as it did. In addition to improving my confidence, University has enabled me to further expand on my knowledge of fashion marketing and communications, improve on my presentation skills and further my creativity. I would consider myself as a hardworking, organised individual with and a Great initiative. All skills I don’t doubt will push me into my career in fashion marketing. By completing a placement year with EGO, I have had the pleasure to be invited to stay with the brand after I graduate. I am looking forward to developing my skills and continuing to work with other talented individuals. My Final Major Project demonstrated the skills I have developed during my time at university. I used my creativity and digital skills to form a launch event plan and lookbook for the collaboration between Off White and Zara while directing a photoshoot by introducing my team management skills. Along with these skills and my experience, I hope to own my own fashion brand in the future. *Please note all brands used within my work are part of university projects and are no way linked to the existing companies.
