Amelia Brownhill

Fashion Creative Direction BA(Hons)

I am 2020 Fashion Creative Direction Graduate, over the past four years here at the University of Huddersfield. I have grown in confidence and become a highly motivated individual. I feel that I have gained independence throughout my experience here at Huddersfield, and I am proud of the work I have created, especially my final major project which was an online queer publication in which it showed I have a passion for diversity and representation within the fashion industry.
I have also grown throughout placement year, where it allowed me to translate my ideas to the team. Working in a fashion magazine environment at the Sunday Times Style to a fashion brand, New Look, helping me to gain key skills in marketing, social media, PR, and styling. I thrive in an environment that is creative as well as being enthusiastic and looking forward to new challenges in life. Knowing where my strengths lie, I aim to develop and start a career in styling and creative direction and see my work published within fashion magazines would be an absolute dream of mine and using this enthusiasm to engage further into the industry of fashion.
