Aaliyah Riaz

After studying Fashion Creative Direction at the University of Huddersfield, I am now a graduate striving to develop my career within the creative industry with knowledge and skills for the development of high-level concepts for design projects and direction. I am a bright and hardworking individual who enjoys all aspects of working within a team environment and on my own initiative. I present myself as a very dynamic, creative, and eager individual with a desire to succeed. This course has allowed me to develop my skills in visual communications, as I have become proficient in various areas such as photography, fashion-film making and styling. I have excelled in projects that have required a strong creative direction such as Fashion Practise 2, Advanced Fashion Practise and Final Major Project, which has helped me build my confidence and shape my identity as a Creative Director. For my final major project, I created an online feature for Chanel’s website, for a resale service of Chanel vintage products. Within this project I have demonstrated extensive photographic and creative directive skills, specialising in my interests, through my director's treatment and photoshoots, from sourcing garments, models, locations, coordinating/styling outfits and translating my ideas to designs.
