Fashion Creative Direction BA(Hons)
Studying Fashion Creative Direction has provided me with a taste for what I believe my future could look like. It has allowed me to develop and grow as a creative individual, whilst pushing me to meticulously think about how my work can be both innovative and progressive within the fashion industry. My interests lie mostly with content creation - my final major project consisted of a live brief, where I produced and fully edited a video for a global conference, to exhibit the fashion and textiles industry within and around Huddersfield. During my placement at Oxfam, I was part of the social media team, where I was given free-range to create and edit content for all of their social media platforms. I was also assigned to research any fascinating or unique garments that came through the doors, which built upon my trend and garment construction knowledge from different fashion eras. My studies at the University of Huddersfield, have provided me with an ever-growing fascination and interest to be a part of the creative fashion industry and I am excited to see where I can progress to within the future.
