Fashion Design with Marketing and Production BA(Hons)
As a Polish student abroad, I felt it is important to bring the subject of the Holocaust closer to people unaware of this part of the history. To do this, I have based my collection on the prisoners’ clothing and their features, one of the being the adaptability between the sizes. The other aspect of my collection, the plus size, is also a part of my personal life, as I have watched family members and friends struggle to find high quality clothing in bigger sizes. I decided that, as a Fashion Design student, it is my responsibility to once again bring this subject closer to fellow students as well as potentially other designers. I am a production and technical focused individual with several years of experience of working within the fashion industry. My experience ranges from quality control, through some garment technologist experience, to pattern cutting and toiling. I wanted to learn more about pattern grading, and my plus size collection enabled me to do so. I am looking to develop my career within fashion as a Garment Technologist or a Product Developer.
