Fashion Design with Marketing and Production BA(Hons)

FASHION DESIGN WITH DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY I am an undergraduate student in Fashion Design with Digital Technology at the University of Huddersfield. I am a conscientious, easy going person who likes a challenge and who is able to communicate with peers. I am proficient at CAD, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, OPTITEX, and CLO 3D. I can research and produce concept and trend boards, along with technical packages and digital pattern drafting. The concept for my final collection was Outer Space and Greek Mythology, and as part of my module I constructed three outfits, including menswear and womenswear, whilst trying to produce sustainable garments. The industries current strive for sustainability is something I am passionate about being a part of and would love to see it continue to improve in the future. During my placement year, I worked as a product designer for Focus Brands and designed sportswear for all ages and genders. This involved working closely with factories and designing clearly to make sure the correct garments were produced. My skills and confidence grew during this time, along with gaining knowledge of the industry that provided me a clear view of what I wanted to continue doing once graduated.
