My Autumn/Winter 2020 outdoor womenswear collection is inspired by road markings and road signs, integrated through the use of performance fabrics, reflective elements, and shapes that have informed my textile development, these include quilting, laser-cutting and free-hand machine embroidery. The reflective elements are a safety feature, whilst making a style statement; these high-visibility features balance practical considerations within a fashion-focussed collection. The level of detail involved in each garment provides the wearer with options; for example, the bomber jacket can be worn fitted using the elastic drawcord and toggles, or without, to create an oversized look.
