Insects are eaten by 2 billion people around the world. In predominantly Western cultures, eating insects has a certain ‘yuck factor’. Snipa Snapa has re-designed the experience of eating insects to promote it as part of a healthy, daily diet. The brand mission is to foster sustainability and provide an alternative source of protein to red meat. Snipa Snapa’s Victorian-style illustrations are inspired by the fascination with insects throughout the mid to late 1800’s.
