I am an emerging Illustrator from Preston, Lancashire. My Final Major Project began with the intention to explore the persuasion arena of Illustration. ‘Supporting Small Businesses’: a project inspired by my experience on the Enterprise Placement Year and its impact was meant to encourage consumers to support small businesses by shopping in their local highstreets and on the global marketplace. These advertising campaigns are for American Express and Etsy, to appear across online platforms. ‘Playboy X National Youth Theatre’ is a series of promotional materials, inspired by my investigation into the Playboy Bunny iconography and the cultural impact it has had since its conception. The intended impact of this work was to visually communicate the progression of domestic relationships and reactions towards misogynistic behaviour through different eras.
