Still on my mind. A part of me.
What if we wore our scars and traumas with pride instead of carrying them with shame? What if we allow our inner child to stay within us, to grow?
For so long, I have bottled up my thoughts and battled against my past. It became too heavy to carry. I am often told, ‘let it go’ and ‘move on’. In fact, after two years of counselling and guidance from mental health advisors, I’ve come to realise that we should stop running from the past and accept it as part of life. Growth for me is a personal exploration into your own mind to allow a bridge to your past to new beginnings.
