I am a textile designer, specialising in print and commercial design, with a great passion for printed interior textiles. Much of my inspiration comes from nature, whose bright, rich and varied colour palette I love to incorporate into my designs. Most of these designs originate from hand drawings and photographs which are then enhanced digitally using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator or AVA. In doing so, I strive to achieve an artistic interpretation, incorporating hand drawn and photographic elements, which is aesthetically pleasing while retaining the integrity of form and colour of the original subject. 'Fleurs Inspirantes' is a digitally printed collection of rich and expressive floral designs, created for a high-end interiors market. The combination of painterly styles and photography, along with a striking colour palette provides a sense of individuality, perfect for luxury furnishings.
