‘Reviving History’ is a design concept intended for a commercial lifestyle collection that includes stationery, gift wrap and home accessories. This collection combines hand-painted studies with digital drawing, through the use of Photoshop and AVA software, to create playful, contemporary prints and patterns. The drawings took inspiration from primary sources of historical buildings and artefacts. This collection celebrates historical influences by reviving them using a graphic approach, that boasts a confident use of shape, pattern and bold colour in order to appeal to a modern audience, for the season of S/S 2021.
