'Out of the Ordinary’

This collection derives from the everyday objects that surround us. Taking elements from these different objects and focussing on the attention to detail helped produce a range of bold, statement repeats which were created from both hand and digital drawings. These were that transformed into large scaled digital embroideries and rich embellished pieces.
Intended for womenswear, the Wimbledon inspired colour palette is fresh, vibrant, and appropriate for a high-end sportswear collection S/S 2021 ready-to-wear and sports inspired couture collection S/S 2021. The materials were purposefully chosen to reflect the context and market level of this collection. The samples created, primarily suggest high-end womenswear, but the research undertaken has proven that the designs can be produced at a commercial level.
