Ongoing and never-ending crises around the world prompt us, humans, to naturally seek protection - resulting in a collection of final knitted and quilted designs for the high-end commercial market, exploring the concept of supplementing defence to everyday knitted garments. The Unisex vests are like armour, with distinct sections offering further enhanced padding and reflective piping, granting the individual the choice of what they require shielding. The post-apocalyptic theme is exaggerated by the investigation of a traditionally knitted structure of cables and how it could be re-arranged in a patchwork design, inspired by aerial views, geological transformations, and my forecast of trends for A/W 22/23.
