Textiles BA/BSc(Hons)
I created a variety of embroidery designs from the moments captured in old photographs and childhood toys to keep a nostalgic feel and appeal to a bespoke market. The product would be used as a keepsake to remember important memories and occasions that have happened.
Childhood toys inspired the decision to make a stuffed rabbit for my final piece. I created a rabbit as my favourite toy as a child was a stuffed rabbit. The stuffed animal and the photographs used to inspire embroidery are something that I plan to change depending on the clients; there would be a set collection and the option to have a personalised product based on the client’s nostalgia.
