Throughout completing a Fashion Brand Marketing degree, I have gained the skills and knowledge required to assist my career development in the social marketing and PR industry. This degree has further supported my career path by providing me with knowledge that has stabilised my decision to progress in the fashion marketing industry and truly understand what I want in life.
The final couple of years of my degree has really opened my eyes into the world of digital and commercial marketing. Taking on the opportunity of a placement year at the JD Sports owned corporation Focus International, abled me to come into my own and find my own identity. I gained confidence and independence alongside a strong work ethic. I flourish in a creative environment where I can present my innovative ideas and express my enthusiasm for fashion.
My final year of university has brought my creative confidence to its peak, giving me the opportunity to build on my strengths. Researching and completing a dissertation on the 80s Casual fashion phenomenon, producing a publication aiming to boost women’s confidence and forming a unisex fashion collaboration for my final major project saw the end of my degree with success.
