I am soon to be a fashion design with marketing and production graduate. I am a hardworking, conscientious individual, passionate about fashion. I take pride in the work I produce; I am very resilient when encountering problems, and I finish everything to the best of my ability. I have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and a desire to succeed. I have a good under- standing of a broad range of the fashion industry, including marketing, pro- duction, design, retail. I currently have one year experience through my placement year with Oxfam, which was very rewarding. I hope to continue to explore the world of fashion and gain more experience to develop my skills and challenge myself when transitioning into the workplace. I enjoyed creating my final major project garments and seeing them come to life as I formed them by hand on a mannequin through moulage techniques, it was very rewarding seeing the garments on models when I took part in the Fashanne competition catwalk, and for my marketing campaign photo- shoots, such as my look book and brand handbook. I enjoyed developing my designs from flat into toiles, as I feel this is the stage where my work took form, and the process became exciting when beginning to see the desired outcome in my real fabrics. I found this way of working more exciting in comparison to pattern drafting, because I could change and edit things as I saw it on the stand.
