The final Major project enabled me to focus on the subject of Greek mythology and reimagine its stories for the 21st Century. I wanted to give voice to the many female characters that inspired me growing up, and to develop my own illustrative graphic practice.
Alongside my illustrative work I wanted to re-create novel contemporary wish-fulfilment stories based upon extensive research into selected mythological figures. This process led me to rebalance the scales in order to give my favourite figures some form of cosmic justice. I really enjoyed this process and have started to develop my own web-comics. This medium is perfect for self-publishing allowing me to reach the audiences I would like to connect with in the future.
