Graduating with a first-class BA Hons degree in Two thousand and fifteen, I completed a placement year based in London as assistant designer and assisting the head of atelier for high end fashion designers; Maria Grachvogel, Fyodor Golan, and Peter Pilotto. This included working backstage at London Fashion Week and being flown to Paris with Rainbow wave PR and communications company, to sell ranges to international buyers across the world. I then completed an internship at TOPSHOP to gain high street design experience. I secured my first graduate job as a Womenswear Designer at Cohen and Wilks, a supply company, designing new season collections for many diverse brands, these included Next, TOPSHOP SNO, TOPSHOP, FatFace, White Stuff, M&S, Debenhams, George ASDA and TU. I travelled to manufacturers around the EU and China to transfer designs into sampling ready for production stages. I moved to an athleisure brand, Gym King, I was employed to design and launch the womenswear label for the brand. Designing multi product, working closely with JD sports, Footasylum and a broad range of suppliers in the EU and China. Due to the success of the launch and after four years of growing the business, I decided to complete an MA Master’s Degree in Fashion Communication and Promotion to further develop my academic skills.
